Regulations for the import and export of your equipment in Switzerland.

WITHOUT SALES ON THE BOOTH

If you do not wish to sell your equipment directly on your booth, an ATA booklet is necessary:

  • The booklet is approved by the chamber of commerce of your countryThe ATA booklet does not allow the direct sale of equipment, you can however take your customer's contact details and then send it to them

  • Indicate in the reason exibition, presentation, etc.” )

WITH SALE ON THE BOOTH

If you wish to sell your equipment directly on your booth, a customs declaration for temporary admission (DDAT) is mandatory:

 

  • The declaration will be made upon entry and exit from Switzerland. BE CAREFUL to check the opening hours of your customs office.

  • Indicate “uncertain sale” in the reason

  • A deposit must be payed upon entry into Switzerland, corresponding to the VAT (8.1%) on the value of the declared goods. It will be refunded to you on return at 100% or in proportion to what you have sold (counting the equipment you bring back )
